To qualify for insulation, air sealing, and duct related rebates, customers will be required to have measures installed by a ThermWise Authorized Contractor. Attic, wall and floor insulation work may also be installed as a self-installation in order to qualify for a rebate.
Duct-sealing and duct-insulation work completed by a ThermWise Authorized Contractor must be done together in order to meet duct-sealing and insulation specifications.
Air-sealing work completed on qualifying single-family homes by authorized contractors must meet air-sealing specifications.
As part of the Weatherization Rebate Program, a single-family home is defined as a structure with one to three attached residential dwelling units.
A multi-family residence has four or more attached dwelling units. For qualifying multi-family residences, a pre-qualification inspection is required. To schedule a pre-qualification inspection please call 801-324-5118.
For a property owner, property manager or landlord of a property with one to three units (that is not listed on the gas account), complete the Property Owner Addendum and submit it with the rebate application.
